The taste of the vegan burrito Santa Monica is an epiphany! I highly recommend this generously stuffed burrito. Absolutely worth it!

Good coffee, tasty cakes and a good range of books to read, including in English. You can trade books with the shop as well.

A decent place to get a coffee and browny, and they also offer food (we went here specifically for breakfast). The breakfast we've changed the mince in the dish for bacon instead. The dish consisted mostly of potato cubes with some melted cheese, green pepper, onion and two small waiver thin bacon strips, a couple of tasty eggs all for $7. The other dish was a toasted cheese and bacon sandwich which was tasty even though it was smothered with BBQ sauce. Although this was just a sandwhich it came in at $4.
The latte and sparkling water was nice and a fair price at $2 &$1 respecrively. The food (when compared London UK) is higher priced and won't have me rushing back. Although I hate to compare different places with oneanother it is being suggested here that you get better value for money than in more developed countries like the UK. Unfortunately this has not been my experience and I've had better breakfasts for less in London.

Ñucallacta knows how to make great coffee! I’ve had a lot of weak and super milky lattes recently but Ñucallacta’s latte was strong, smooth, and delicious. My husband enjoyed his iced coffee as well. The interior is beautiful and bright and the service was prompt. I didn’t try the food since I had just eaten lunch but it looked amazing.

My favorite place for lattes. Reasonable prices, well made and nicely presented. The staff is great as well. Sundays you wait a bit longer or for a table, but that's not often. There is a loud hummingbird close by if you sit downstairs. I've ordered a few things off the menu, generous portions and extremely well prepared and tasty

Great vegan breakfast and viva Verde smoothie. Vegan cookie and carrot cake was also good and dirty chai

Came here for the coffee but kept returning for the food! Great tacos and burritos, including the vegetarian options. Nice atmosphere, there's even a book exchange. Seems to be the local hangout for travelers, expats and digital nomads. Plus, unlimited pancakes on the weekend

Nice low-key cafe. Friendly staff and excellent cappuccinos. Nice selections of books to browse through. I have not eaten there yet, but they did give me toast on the house when it was all I wanted. Good prices too.

Unos deliciosos pancakes que con solo 2, fueron más que suficientes junto con sus aderezos y frutas y me gustó porque me dieron más cafecito y un delicioso café, aroma increíble. Buena atención y un lugar bastante cómodo y abrigadito en la parte de arriba. Recomendado. Volvería de nuevo, claro que sí.

My fiancé and I haven’t been to Cuenca in about a year and yet keep referring to Ñucallacta as one of our favorite cafés. We used to go almost every Sunday for pancakes (often leaving with a bag of coffee) and sometimes during the week too, to work and enjoy their amazing caprese sandwich. The people are nice, the prices are fair, the Wi-Fi works great and the coffee is delicious.

Cosy, homey vibes and yummy home-style cooking! Many vegan / veggie options and their lunches are an incredible value! We've been here several times already and were very happy with our experience

I think maybe this place is too famous to have one more review. But I still want to write my feeling: I love the coffee of Nucallacta The coffee beans they sell are also very good quality! You can buy coffee paper filter here as well. The owner and staffs are very friendly~ And they are very hard working people. The café opens almost every day, including public holidays.

Un lugar trankilo para una conversación no tiene parqueadero es bueno para un paseo y un café en el camino

Easily top 3 specialty coffee shops in cuenca. A very small and modest shop in downtown but do not be fooled as quality makes it totally worthwhile. They offer a big selection of options including aeropress (what I had), chemex and iced coffee. The quality of the coffee was incredible as it is home roasted (you can order all the coffee in the diferent types of roasts they offer) and locally sourced from the Loja province, farther south in Ecuador.
There are also other coffee drinks like cappuccino and lattes (also tried the hazelnut latte and it was awesome) and a wide variety of desserts that rotate every day. We had the apple pie which was good too.
An easy 5 star review from me. I even walked out with a bag of 400g medium roast for my French press back home at a very reasonable 6$ (everything tastes better when it's cheap lol).
